It was recorded live, with no overdubs, and was engineered by Sam Farrar (Phantom Planet/Maroon 5) ![]() FST's live performance on WMSE 91.7FM: ![]() Finally got around to posting the "120:1 demos" ![]() The "120:1 demos" were recorded back in January-February-March of 2007. The general idea was to spend 120 minutes maximum on the creation of a one-minute demo. These are 30 such demos. My ten favorites will be revisited in the near future, and released as an album. If you have any favorites in particular that you'd like to see on that album, let me know! I figured it was about time to throw 'em out there, to give people a general idea of what this project yielded. I like the sound of a lot of these songs, especially considering the fact that each one was created in two hours or less, and entirely from scratch. Here they are in the order they were 1st created: The original concept art for my 2nd LP: ![]() And here's a bunch of random FST videos: Below you'll find FST's first three demo albums. Most of these songs were recorded live. Some were recorded via multi-track, it's pretty obvious which are which. Ultimately, these demos were done just to get songs down, and were not really meant for mass consumption. I still draw from these songs quite often. |
